Here we go again. Jude had his 4th laser treatment today and is doing well. I have to say that these treatments are getting less and less stressful but they sure don't break your heart any less. He is the sweetest boy ever. I don't know may babies that are as resilient as our Jude, then again not too many kids have laser surgery every 3 months either. Although he woke up from the general anesthesia saying "ouch" and cried a little bit he just carries on like nothing really happened. I know the morphine may help a bit, maybe even a lot, but he is so tough. I know what they do hurts, the nurses say that grown men cry when it happens, and that they have heard teenage kids crying when they are just doing the "test spots" saying, "I'm on fire! They are burning me!" but Jude is so strong. The nurses love Jude and always tell us when we leave how remarkably good he is acting. He whimpers every so often and is a little sad, you can tell it hurts but like I said he just is Jude, so happy. I don't know how he does it but he is officially my hero.
I hope that one day when he is older he will be appreciative of what we are doing for him. I hope that these laser treatments do help but its all a game of hope, you never know. I don't know what we would do without or support system. Trevan was not going to be able to come because of training at his new job but he did. Still, of course my Mom and Rog were there to support us (Terri had to work). I love our family and the role that they play in Jude's life. I think the staff at hospital think its funny that Jude has an entourage but he is so loved and believe me, he knows it!

We were starving after the surgery and so was Jude. He can't eat for 12 hours before the surgery and so we decided that since we are over being "modest" about Jude appearance we ate lunch at one of our favorites,
The Pub. If you are ever in SLC you have to go there and get the french onion soup , mmmmmm. Paige and Nate met us as well.
