jude + soccer = happy mommie

baseball, basketball, football, golf, and tennis? well, trevan can have those sports because i got soccer. soccer is my game, the only sport i know more about than trevan does. freak, i played it for like 10 years (and yes i was a goalie, don't judge). i LOVES me some soccer and i have been waiting for the day to come that jude could play.

as you can see jude was pretty excited about today too.

my friend heather and i made sure the jude and tamari were on the same team. they may fight like cats and dogs but we are bound and determined to make them friends/lovers.

jude did not play the first quarter but stood on the side lines and cheered on (or danced) his fellow teammates. i think it was good for team moral.

ret to go.

between the long day at primary childrens and a high fever greta couldn't cheer on her best friend as i am sure she would have liked.

the usual fan club was there to support jude.
he is a pretty kewl guy.

jude is so my son.

love him,
forever-ever.

  1. hill-arious.

between you air kicking on the sidelines, jude's body slamming team mates, and his groovin' moves on the field..

    well nothing short of amazing.

    go team green!

  4. This is what I noticed as similar between Mom and Jude....body slamming the opposing team, more time ON the grass than ON his feet, great enjoyment of half-time and post-game treats, and a gaggle of people cheering him on. Fun times ahead!
    Love that little man! XOXO

    P.S. Finally....a local grandkid who's games I can follow!

  5. I would have loved to watch you watching that game. Jude's faces on the sidelines and dancing killing me.

  7. Boo ya Jude. I was cheering him on while reading the post. Can brig and I be honorary members of the fan club due to the 800 miles between us?

  9. I love the first picture where he is standing doing the pattened Tucker butt scratch. I thought it was only our son that spent the game trying to keep the wedgie away...
