anyway, so trevan has been conspiring to get our tree down for a while, even before christmas (the thought!). so being my lazy self i woke up after trev and jude had been up and went downstairs to see the tree de-decorated and being chopped down slowly but surely to be burned in our fireplace. taking it outside to be picked up was not fun enough. funny how my 26 year old husband can revert back to a 12 year old pyro when presented with the opportunity. i love him.

trevan's after christmas party

christmas day
(and yes, jude is to most photogenic person i know.)
chirstmas morning
all of us kiddie's at heart waited down stairs at nannie's house until everyone was awake and ready to go up stairs. although it is not pictured, jude was bouncing off the walls with excitement.
it was the best chirstmas morning ever. we had a great time just sitting around watching everyone enjoy their christmas. jude enjoyed every last second of it except when he had to open another dang present. he pretty much was fine with the cars paraphernalia that we got him. i think its typical for a 2 year old.trevan was a peach this year. some of you may know that last year we didn't do christmas for each other. trevan took it really literally and didn't do christmas AT ALL for me, i was a little hurt at the time but its totally fine now because he totally redeemed himself. he bought me a digital SLR! oh, how i have wanted one for so long. i am so excited to play with it and once again pick up that hobby. i also got a sweet camera bag, another lens, and photoshop! go senor!

i think trevan's favorite present was a new messenger bag for riding his bike that he has wanted for a while. they are called chrome bags and it's pretty sweet and i know he is looking forward to using it once we de-thaw a little bit. he also got some much needed new clothes and a bathrobe. he is simply dashing.

i know one day we will have to have our own christmas but it is so much fun at my mom's house with my siblings. i think my parents enjoy having us there too. did i mention they gave all of us a cruise in january? they are the best!

The Night Before Christmas
the annual christmas eve party at trevan's grandma polly's went off without a hitch. surprisingly, every year santa makes it to this lovely event and this year was no exception. jude was so exctied and scared to see santa. i think that he expected santa to stay and play. he sort of wants santa for a best friend. who wouldn't?

the chillins & kris kringle(thank you ernie)
afterwards, we went down to my parents house to sleep there for the night. the christmas jammies were a hit, as mentioned above, jude loves santa. it was a fun night all together. christmas is 100 times better with kids.

snowtime @ yaya's
in my current situation i am not, as it turns out, the best playmate for jude. we woke up to a foot of snow and because momo and landy are out of school we knew we had to take advantage of our situation. of course, the greg's were game for some snowtime with jude. landon was ready when we got there, morgan got right out of bed, and even yaya joined in on the fun.

jude's best friend
we went to landy's school christmas sing-a-long today. jude thought it was great fun. he was able to hear a few of his favorite songs (rudolph, jingle bells, and santa claus is coming to town) and see santa. in the middle of the program jude ran over to sit with landon and his classmates. he knows no boundaries or rules. he adores his uncle landy to the point of frustration for landon but when it comes down to it they are great pals.p.s. don't get me started on the reincarnation of the spongebob crocs. we chose our battles right?
we couldn't have done it without jude.....
YAHOO!!!! our basement is finally finished. once the christmas craze is over i will post pictures of the finished product. words cannot express how happy i am for it to be over. our living space has quadrupled! i know that my crew (trevan, rog, and kyle) are glad to be finished but they know that they couldn't have finished it without the help of our jude.

fyi.... these are judes working boots and as you can tell they have gotten a lot of wear. oh how i love having a little boy. jude is heaven!

the not so progressive dinner
we had our annual williams family progressive dinner tonight but this year it was not so progressive. we had it at my uncle lee's new club "the murray" which he had transformed into the queen story teller's palace. we had pizza and ice cream from the adjoining pizza parlor and of course a little (huge) program.
the queen's story teller, lee. he did a great job and it was quite the production. it was a little bit "o" show meets "so you think you can dance" meets comedy hour meets i don't know what. we all enjoyed ourselves.
brooke and i got a little antsy in between scenes and of course the camera somehow found us. we are both beautiful.
