we had a bit of a scare. last week i had some pre-term labor problems, mostly contractions, and we spent some time in labor & delivery. to make a long story short everything is fine but i am on "modified" bed rest until the contractions stop. they are fine unless i am up for an extended period of time, so no more shopping and working for me. i do not want a preemie!
in the meantime our basement has to be done by wednesday the 19th because that is when we are getting carpet. so with me being on the verge of a mental breakdown my sweet parents came and help paint my hallway. i got to lay on the couch and monitor while everyone worked. it turned out fantastic and i found myself wondering why i didn't paint that blasted hallway a year ago when we moved in. trevan and his dad, rog, are still busy in the basement. i am sure they are about ready to kill me but i love them.

trevan is not so sure about any of the process. i think we have found that a remodel is the absolute worst thing for our relationship and that trevan does not like pressure. so for future reference we will be hiring out for help and i need to not be pregnant.
ummm, for those of you who don't know my dad......1. he has bladder cancer
2. he asked me to take his picture with him dying of cancer
3. he is totally and completely crazy (but i love every minute of it)
Keep taking it easy Kennan...you want that baby girl roasting as long as you can!! Good luck with finishing your basement...it looks like its coming along and looks great!
