its been a while

sorry its been so long since i've updated. i really haven't been busy with anything. maybe i'm just lazy or jude is getting more needy. i will try to update more often but, you neva neva know. below is what has been going on in our little lives. love you all.

Jude's new tricks.....

Jude rolled over March 18th and his mother (me) had never been so proud. The thing is, Jude hates "tummy-time" and I don't like making him do it. I get a lot of crap for it from my sister Robyn (you know I love you sister). It seemed he would never roll over and would never sit up by himself all because we don't do "tummy-time". So one day as I was begrudingly watching him fight the floor he just rolled over, my son Jude rolled over, and right on schedule at that. So it seems that he will sit one day and maybe even walk even though his mother doesn't give him the"tummy-time" everyone keeps telling her is so important. Thank you Jude.

Another perk of being close to your family is tips on raising your child, or feeding him. Jude now eats solids and likes it thanks to some great family resources. I don't know what I would do if Robyn didn't have kids.

Brookie and Brad

My family is the greatest thing I have. I have told Trevan numerous times that we may not move further than a 1 state radius. I love having my family around and getting to celebrate birthdays, graduations, pregnancies, births, and jut about anything else together. Brooke turned 20 and Brad 30 in March so we got to celebrate both of their lives.
So Happy Birthday!!!!

Silly Uncle Cam goes on a mission.....

Jude's Uncle Cammy got called to serve a mission in Sacramento, California. He went to the MTC on March 8th and we were all there to see him off. Word from Cam is that he is doing well but says the food is bland. He also says we needn't worry because he is showing all the "pussies" what is up in basketball, totally appropriate.

As mentioned above Cam loves basketball and recently took up buying jerseys. Cam claims if he was 4 inches taller and had bigger hands he himself would be a professional basketball player. The night he left his brothers all put jersey's on in remembrance of "Camnutz" (and yes Trevan does look the same age as Landon).

Jude eats solids......or tries.

We went to the Doctor for Jude's 4 month check up (15 lbs, 26 in, huge head) and Dr. Cramer told us we should try solids. Well, Jude didn't agree, what started out as a good time ended in sadness.

Olympic Party

we had an olympic party for the final night of womens ice skating. its was great fun. brooke and i may take it up, after all i was made for a triple toe-double toe loop.
