Paige's Wedding

Nate and Paige were married August 24th 2006 in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a sweet ceremony and a great event. The day before the ceremony we had a "girls only" spa day at Sego Lily Spa and the Groom's Dinner that night at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was a surreal experience seeing Paige getting married. Isn't she still 14 and overly obsessed with Radiohead? She was absolutely stunningly beautiful. Over the past few months I have gotten to know Nate and I love him. They are a handsome couple and I wish the two of them the best of luck and all the happiness in the world!

Lake Blanche

Trevan and his Uncle Scott hiked to Lake Blanche up Big Cottonwood Canyon one day while I was at work. It was a very steep and long hike. Trevan is my hero, he did the whole thing with Jude on his back. Scott said he kept telling Trevan that there was no shame in turning around but if you know Trevan you know he never gives up. He is stubborn almost to a fault but he made it. He could barely walk that night but he did it. Both said it was well worth the hike to see the beauty of the earth.

Lagoon 06'

The tag line that Lagoon uses is "Its What Fun Is" and they couldn't be more correct. I LOVE Lagoon. The Gregory's have a long standing tradition of going to Lagoon. Grandpa Gregory worked there in the 1930's. I am so glad that we got to start out own family tradition of going to Lagoon. It was a first for Jude and he will have many Lagoon days in his future. And if you couldn't tell he was having a blast.

LeGrande E. Gregory (Dan)

Trevan's grandfather passed away last Wednesday the 9th of August. The funeral was on Monday the 14th and everyone was there expect for Cam. Trevan thinks its weird but I actually like the funeral part of funerals. I love that you can hear all about the persons life and the wonderful lives that they led. Grandpa Gregory was a truly wonderful man and he leaves a wonderful legacy here on earth. I was lucky enough to get to know him and when he met Jude it was love at first sight. Trevan loves his grandfather very much and is very sad that he is gone. Trevan's grandmother Barbara died 3 years ago from complications of Alzheimer's disease and since then all Dan wanted to do was be with her. He adored his sweetheart and I am sure they are having a sweet reunion in the afterlife with each other and their baby boy Michael Dan who died in infancy. Happy Birthday Trevan

We had a birthday party for Trevan's 25th birthday at my parents house and it was so much fun. Both of our families were there and there was great food, fantastic Costco cake, and an intense football game.

I love my husband and I am so glad he was born.

the nova's all grown up

I had a picnic today with my best friends since 7th grade. Back in the day we were called the Nova's but now we are just Mom's (minus Lindsey & Taryn). There were always adopted Nova's but the original 6 were always the closest. It's not weird to me that I'm a Mom but its weird that WE are Mom's. Anyway, I love these girls and will forever be indebted to them for the friends that they were to me.

Jana, Lindsey, Nicole, & Rebecca (missing Taryn)

Kyler (Jana's) & Ashlyn (Nicole's)

Jackson Hole 2006

Jackson Hole has been a part of my family longer than I have. My parents went on the their honeymoon there 33 years ago and we are still visiting there today. I have lots of fond memories of Jackson, there have been numerous strolls around downtown, drives to the Jackson Lake Lodge, Old Faithful in Yellowstone, the Bunnery, and of course Teton Village. This year marks me and Trevan's 3rd visit in our 4 years together.

The only down thing is my parents have 6 kids and with 6 kids not everyone can always come. This year my parents, Brad and Vanessa, Brooke and Dustin, my cousin Mark, Trevan and I, and of course JUDAKINS went. I love going on vacations with Jude, I have said it before, he is the best baby traveler in the history of babies. We had a lot of laughs and made a lot of memories, although we rarely saw my Dad who was busy fishing. Our family vacations always are made up of a lot of nighttime games. The most popular being Rummy. It gets competitive and some people are all business and some people are there just to annoy (Dustin.....thats right RedMan). We even had a coloring contest this year. Jude was the only one under 20 and he didn't even participate, so it was pretty funny. All in all, we a blast and I love being with family.
