Memorial Day Weekend & Gwyn's Birthday

For Memorial Day Weekend we went down to St. George for a short vacation and Gwyn's 1st Birthday. The Gregory's were kind enough to let us borrow their suburban and me, Trevan, Jude, Nannie, Grampa Mike, and Paige rocked it down to St. George. We had a really good time. The guys were able to golf and the girls were able to shop. We went to Zion National Park one day and had Gwynnie's Party that night. It was a lot of fun.

It was really good that we were able to go with Bob to Zion. It is Bob's favortie place and he was able to tell us just about everything about it. You have to love Bob, he is a wonderful husband and father. He is truly just an amazing person with the best heart. It is the running joke in the Williams family that all men have to live up to Bob. Just be sure not call Zion "Zions" infront of him.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day has become a really emotional holiday for me. I can hardly write a card without crying. For me becoming a Mother myself made me love and appreciate Mom's so much more. I love the influence they have over me and the love that they give me. Whether they be Mother-in-Laws, Grandma's, Aunts, or Sisters they are all so wonderful and deserve way more than what they get.

Trevan's oh-so wonderful Mom.

First Hiking Experience

A few weeks ago we bought Jude a new carseat and a Kelty Backpack for kids. So far he really likes the backpack and misses his old carseat. We decided to try out the backpack on a short hike up Bell's Canyon in Salt Lake. (don't mind if i nearly did die because i'm so out of shape!) It was so fun and Jude did great, I mean Trevan did, he did all the work. We decided that it is now going to be our new hobby and plan on hiking regularly. We live in such a beautiful state.

Family Basketball

The Williams Family has a new tradition it seems and its basketball. My older brother Brad is officially obsessed. He always has a basketball on hand and sporty outfit ready to whip out. So now whenever anyone is at my parents house and Brad is there, there will be a basketball game. The girls usually sit and watch, although I did get some play time a few weeks ago but only to make the girls laugh, basketball is not my sport. No matter what we are doing its always fun with family around.

Trevan had to borrow some clothes and looked great in my old soccer shorts and my Dad's sweatband.

6 months and counting....

Jude turned 6 months old last week and I don't know where the time has gone. Wasn't he just born? I love every round inch of him and the joy he brings. He now understands that I am his care taker and he does not like when I am gone. Although it my be a little annoying to others, it is a dream come true to me. I have always wanted to be #1 to someone and now I am. I told Trevan that I would have 100 babies just to see that look that Jude gives me right before he falls asleep. I wish everyone could see it, or better yet feel it. It is what life is all about.
