gO jAZz

we finally went to a jazz game and it was so much fun. i have never really liked basketball until we saw some of the jazz players at the food court a few months ago and i fell in love with dee brown, only joking of course. but it made it more fun to watch the games having met the players. so now i actually watch the games with trev and jude. i always give dee a shout out when he gets some play time and i did at the game too. luckily for me he actually played quite a bit in the game against the wizards. once we got down off the ceiling (our seats were so high) and went and sat with paige and nate it was great. we were SOOO close, love 5th row and love not paying for 5th row even more! so now all we need to do is go to the jazz vs. suns game so i can see my one true love, steve nash (sigh), i LOVE him.

trevan taught jude to say "go jazz" whenever a basketball game is on and he does! too bad he had to hang out with brooke and dustin instead of coming to the game!

Muscle Man

my dad kept asking paige when she was going to post some pictures of him on her blog. she didn't seem interested but i said i would if he took off his shirt and showed me his muscles. he did, the sad fact is that my dad has no muscle and never has. i love him but he is just a skinny old man. however he does have a great 3rd nipple that is worth checking out.

Springtime Sundays

oh how we love that the backpack can be used again. trevan was so afraid that jude outgrew is backpack in the winter. i kept telling him that it wasn't possible and that jude had only gained about 5 lbs max but he still was worried. alas, i was right again! and jude even likes it better than he did last year.
paige and nate are the newest bloggers!

oh, hey!

trevan has got game!

a little bit dustin

There is a card game that is played in my family and it is almost like a religion. We call it rummy but new comers say its not exactly rummy. You cannot be a part of our family or even friends for that matter if you don't like rummy. This weekend we played a game with me, Trev, Nannie, Brooke, and Dustin. Dustin was being is hyper self (which I love) and was driving my Mom mad! Last year he provoked Brad to the point of almost killing him and he about got there with my Mom on Saturday. You can tell from this picture why he have deserved being called a "little shit".

Thank you Dustbin!

Children's Museum

Nannie, Robyn & co, Brooke, Jude and I all went to the Children's Museum at the Gateway. Let's just say it was amazing. If you are ever in SLC and want to do something fun with your kids, or with yourself, GO THERE!!! It was so much fun.

jude could have stayed at the beehive ball experiment all day

robyn and i quite enjoyed ourself at the helicopter/resuce exhibit. so what if we are a little immature?

warm + park + ball = happy jude

Jude, like every other child in the world, wants to be outside constantly these days. It is great but sad because he has a lazy Mom. So what if I like being inside and looking on the internet? I am trying to do better and do something outside everyday. I know once our yard is in better condition and its warm outside for more than one day we will be outside ALL the time. Trevan's mom aka Grammy keeps telling me how long this summer is going to be because Jude will be quite busy. I can't say that I am not looking forward to it but I can't believe its started already!

p.s. Jude is still overly obsessed with balls!

oh bashful

When asked what Trevan's favorite thing about me and the thing that most disgusts him about me you would get the same answer, my tucked toe. It is a genetic malformation in my family, spawning from my father. All 6 of us kids have with the exception of Brooke who instead got toe thumbs (which need to be seen). Some of us have it worse that others, like Paige has a tucked toe on both feet. I just thought it would be appropriate to make a little post about my little friend that Trevan has so appropriately named "Bashful" because it hides behind its sister toe.
