sweet gabi turns 1

beautiful beautiful gabi turned 1 on the 29th. she really is adorable and i love her so much. she and jude will be good friends one day, as soon as they can start sharing their toys (mostly jude). we had a fun dora the explorer birthday party at nannie's house. jude quite enjoyed a few of her presents and loved his goody bag that brad and vanessa provided. trevan couldn't be there because the slave driver (me) made him stay and work on the basement.

stroller woes

later on that same day, i met brooke at babiesRus for a little browsing. i figured since the stroller i want is mucho expensive i would look at some other options. well, babiesRus is weak in the double stroller department but jude found a stroller he was upset i didn't buy 2 years ago. seriously, ask brooke, we had a 15 minute tantrum when i got him out of it. stupid mommie!

i will have to go to babinski's or usa baby to look at more options but i am pretty much sold on the phil&ted's e3 double stroller. i am in love.......

look at all the options!!!!! this too can all be yours for a measly $500.

any suggestions? i don't want a side by side because the are akward and i don't want a bus either. i think i want a jogger but not because i will jog, but because i am taking up my favorite 5th grade hobby of rollerblading again after i have this baby.

...chipotle forever...

finally chipotle is here in utah..... it has been in bountiful for a while and we have driven the drive to go there occasionally but now that there is one in midvale (and soon to be sandy) we can frequent it more often. yes, i know it is no taybo's for those of you who remember it (my family & the holmsteads) but its a close second.

wondering what we have been up to??????

jude's last surgery has been a total and complete nightmare. let's just say he got an infection on all the area's treated and we have been trying to deal with that. it has been almost 4 weeks and its still rearing its ugly head and won't go away. i had to take him back to primary childrens 2 weeks after his surgery because it was all crusted and scabbing and green and oozing. totally disgusting to look at and totally painful for my sweet jude. the 3 hour increments of motrin were just not cutting the pain for jude.

dr. vanderhooft recognized the infection and gave him and oral antibiotic, a topical antibiotic, and lortab to ease his pain. my poor baby was in so much pain, especially when he sleeps because if he lays on his it disturbs it and opens the wound or pulls at the scabs. it has been terrible. i feel so bad for my darling little monster. i didn't take any pictures because i wasn't thinking and it looks really bad. just use your imagination.

he is slowly getting better but still has a hard time turning his head because his neck is so scabbed that its so tight. he is still silly old jude but you can tell he is in pain. most of the time he tells me about it. also, he likes to pick his scabs. when i tell him "no", he says "no" to me and then tells me "bye bye" and to leave. i love him.

these picture were taken 2 days ago. he is getting better but you can't see his neck so well in any of these pictures.

brennan sent this little number to trevan for his birthday. he is serving in the LA california mission and told trevan that has the same "gansta" shirt. we took a picture to post on here because bubby sometimes checks our blog. WE HEART YOU BUBBY!

lets all meet at baskin robins......

i don't typically like ice cream but sometimes i crave baskin robbins. i know that i will never be turned down for 2 things with the gregory's.

1. time with jude
2. baskin robbins

so we all met there on saturday and enjoyed some precious delicousness. we all know that judakins loves "landie" and follows him around everywhere and tonight was no exception. we also had the pleasure of a real muck (bob the builder) getting some ice cream. it made jude's day.

p.s. did i mention that i HATE baskin robbins for discontinuing daiquiri ice????? that was my favorite ice cream ever and my hand packed indulgence with my pregnancy with jude.

a celebration for nannie

we got to celebrate my mom's birthday with her at tuscany on friday. it was an all adult evening and was very much needed for some of us parents. the atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious.

it was such a pleasure celebrating my mom. she is so beautiful inside and out. i admire her and she is who i want to be when i grow up. she is the perfect mother and the best nannie around. i also love to shop for her because she is so dang cute. i think she enjoys having adult children sometimes.

jackson hole 07'

we had our annual williams family vacation to jackson hole again last week. my parents are so awesome to provide the lodging for all 3000 of us. it was so much fun to be with my whole family (minus bryce & co). the lamoreaux's came for the first time in a long time and we had a first timer with nate. really we had so much fun. there were only a few tense moments with the group but we all got a long for the most part. my pregnancy interferred when it came to my emotions and morning sickness but we survived.

jude had SO SO much fun with all of his cousins. he an gwyn are quite the team. he pulls her hair and scratches but she bosses and steals toys so it works out. jude sure likes to wrestle with tucker and abe and i don't know how they feel about it. i think they are afraid of hurting him. it will be so much fun in future years as the out families continue to multiply.
